I completely disagree with the latest change to Arcane Missiles. Whichever idiot thought this was a good idea, should be fired.
When playing a mage, a quick response to attack is vital. Now we have none.

Before the stupid change, Arcane Missiles was my go to attack for single targets. But now, I have to spam Arcane Blast just to do any damage. Arcane Blast uses a ton of mana with all 4 charges causing you to be forced to use Arcane Barrage to get some mana back. Arcane Barrage uses all of your charges which means you have to slowly build up your damage with more charges. It was better when you could cast Arcane Missiles with no requirement other than mana. This new change is so stupid.

I forgot about this change, made a new arcane mage in remix to level with the wife and couldn’t figure out why my missles weren’t working. Then I finally saw the message that I needed clearcasting first to use them. What a weird change, the missiles were a cool part of the play for arcane and I loved feeling like I was always attacking. 
With all due respect, I hope blizzard never considers your opinion. AM is much better now, it doesn’t cost mana and you can cast it while moving. Spamming AM without CC was terrible, it cost a lot of mana and was extremely slow.
To all of those people who keep saying that AM shouldn’t be used outside of CC, you have no right to tell people how they can and can’t play a spec. If you want to only use AM on CC that’s your choice. Sure AM cost a bunch of mana, but it still had a good damage output. Without AM on CC, you really have only 1 attack, AB. AM is a much more interesting spell than AB. I would rather have AB proc than AM proc. AM is the best spell to use to take down enemies quickly. Blizzard needs to undo the stupid change ASAP.
So your just copy pasting this to every AM post i see. Its not players telling people how they should play the class its blizzard who, as the developers of this game are 100% in their right. You need to stop the whining ASAP.
Using AM freely is better. Now it just sucks. It’s a better damage output when you use AM as your main attack. Now my main attack is AB which doesn’t have good damage output. All you can really do now is spam AB.
