It’s like, every post I see about changes literally has those changes in SOD yet for some reason they aren’t playing SoD. They are here trying to turn classic into fresh sod.
Sod is still fresh. It literally hasn’t even entered AQ yet. Just play there

It’s because they’re upset. Blizzard didn’t listen to just what they wanted in a Classic plus, they listened to other people because a fair few people have different ideas of what Classic plus should be. So instead of seeing this is exactly why we fight changes, they barge in barking orders like they have the golden ticket to Wonka’s candy factory because “this time” is going to be different. Spoiler alert: It’s never different. Just a hyperinflated ego where they refuse to see they dont know best despite SoD being born of community demand and ideas that aren’t just their own.
Agreed. It’s the slippery slope. Change one thing, change something else, change that, implement this, remove something, etc etc etc…
For Fresh it should either be change nothing (which isn’t possible anymore), or if there must be changes, then very very small QOL only. Even then though, there needs to be a hard stopping point.

I just want the SoM change of no world buffs in raids, not all the crazy nonsense in SoD.
I know it probably won’t happen, but I still want it.

gee it’s almost like all those changes everyone wanted, which you can have right now in SoD, actually ended up making an inferior game 
kinda like we “classic andys” have been telling people for years
SoM had very good, reasonable changes. It is true. I hope we see enhanced SoM raid difficulty as well. Makes raiding a wee bit more interesting.

Agreed. TBC addresses a lot of the weak points in Vanilla class balance and that is coming in a year.
Until then let’s have some fun experincing the Vanilla game for what it was. It will be TBC in a year and will highlight the positive changes the original TBC release brought to class balance.
SoM was the right idea at the wrong time.
