Please cut out the part of the quest chains requiring rogues to go to a major city before returning to the dead drop in Silverpine to get our runes. Instead, when we turn in the treasures such as Eye of Bhossca and Horn of Xelthos reward the respective runes.
Yeah this is a no-brainer. I don’t know who came up with this, but it’s real dumb.
Also, the Warranty Claim quest. I’m already in Feralas but I have to go back to Booty Bay just so I can get teleported back to Feralas? Then I have to go back to Booty Bay again to turn it in.
Come on. Use common sense. These things are just obnoxious.
I agree. Going back to a city just so I can receive a letter in my mailbox is unnecessary. Just have the letter show up after I complete the quest saying “thanks”.
Side note - the dead drop rune quests are the coolest rune acquisition quests in SoD, period. Having to go into dungeons solo is pretty neat.
Have you seen how dumb some of the stuff other classes have to do to get their runes? I will take a Silverpine dead drop over what I see from some of the other classes any day.
Rogues have it very tame. That’s my point. We have an inconvenient dead drop. In the grand scheme of things rogues need to have changed, this is so far down the list it doesn’t even register for me.
They dont need “running around” quests to get you playing SoD all night and day, while also sitting on the SoD forums giving them endless engagement.
5,000 posts on 3 characters in 3 months. And you still play it 12 hours a day.
I was doing that today on my main and I got a random mage to help me with a portal. But the second time around I was in Feralas, the only mage in the zone was afk.
I feel like these quests were a good opportunity to make rogues go to ravenholdt and just talk to the quest giver directly instead of this dead drop business.
