Change the loot system

I am tired of wasting my time in raid just to watch the same people over and over win multiple items off the same boss.

There should be logic that if someone wins something THEY CANNOT WIN anything else off the same boss.

We kill heroic boss new raid, and this dude just wins three items and then leaves next boss. This is unacceptable when many of us wanted personal loot back anyway.

Join a guild and the loot stays in the guild that way eventually you’ll win something

^ This is the answer, right here.

Get over it.

That’s not very logical considering how the system works.

No the majority of raiders do not want personal loot back. It’s the worst lobster ever made. It was removed for a reason.

Majority of LFR runners do…

Tough. LFR isn’t the majority of raiders. LFR doesn’t get special treatment.

Raiding uses group loot. It’s a much better system

Me when i dont win a veteran gear peice from lfr. -_-
Its veteran track dude lfr is more for valorstones and crests at this point.

personal loot is best loot. one of the big reasons i don’t raid anymore

If you’re primary motivation is gear, then pugging is the worse possible way to get it.

Go play WoW Classic then come back to us about loot.

They need to change the way they design trinkets and to be frank, how they design the tier sets.

Some classes are running around with their tier set being 30% of their dmg. For BM it’s 17%, even after being nerfed by 70%.
Then you have trinkets that just gap the life out of the other trinkets. I don’t get why they have so many if so many of them suck. Get rid of this crap if it’s bad, it’s weird.

No they don’t.

Working as intended, cuz thats what wow really is

So first off, the loot was from the first boss of heroic on my main. Not LFR.

Secondly, I have been playing since the beta of classic.

Thirdly , not understanding the hostility of people commenting. I am not going to join a guild that raids. I pug stuff because that is my preferred method of playing and as others mentioned, personal loot felt better for pugging.

Our time is valuable and it’s absurd I got one ring upgrade in 6 hours of play after running , LFR wing 1, heroic raid one boss and three mythic zero in addition to all the questing daily.

Watching someone win all three items on just one boss is ridiculous and demotivating. Many people do not want to be in a guild. Guilds are full of drama and nonsense and moronic discord conversations. I ran some RBG in shadowlands and I had to question the human race existence far too many times.

Adding PvP solo shuffle and blitz was a good step. Adding delves was a good step. They should change code priority after you win one, item next two go to next highest roll.

So you’d prefer to lose items to multiple people and have them leave? You didn’t win the item, that’s all she wrote. Personal loot wouldn’t stop you from losing on an item.

Why? You’ve made zero argument for why this should be the case.

Join a guild or suffer rng.
The system isn’t going to change just because you have bad luck and refuse the obvious choice.

Are you daft or dense ?

There is psychology to this as well but I’ll avoid that for now.

In a personal loot system one person can’t win multiple items per boss . It’s only possible to have them win one item. Is that simple enough ?

The other loot is randomly won by other players . Loot is more evenly distributed and you don’t have people rolling on gear to give to friends.

Is this too difficult to understand? Yes you can still trade in personal but it’s not as egregious.

Irrelevant, that’s not the raid system.

Personal loot 100% has people rolling on items that they need, that’s the system. As for “more evenly distributed”, among players I’m inclined to believe it. That doesn’t mean it is dropping an even distribution of items (it didn’t) or that it was distributing loot to people who actually want the item they got.

It’s worse, actually. Since instead of only some people being able to roll, everyone will always roll for loot automatically under personal loot.

Personal loot isn’t better though. Personal loot was rolling behind the scenes against the whole raid, every single member. Group loot gives you a chance to win multiple items off a single boss, and you roll against fewer people because only people who can use that item can roll Need. So unless you’re in a 20 man raid with 20 plate wearers, the odds are better to get loot.

RNG is RNG. Sometimes you’re the person who gets nothing, other times you’re that person who wins 3 things off one boss. :dracthyr_shrug:
