Almost anytime the Horde is used in the story, it’s some kind of Orc this or that. Sure BfA had some Troll stuff and the Zandalari stuff was admittedly cool.
But I’m tired of Orcs, and I find MOST of thier stories honestly kind of stupid when they’re not doing warmongering, because Orcs don’t have an identity really outside of war.
And while I love the Elves, a lot of people don’t like them.
So why don’t we focus on the Tauren for a change? Games hardly ever use First Nations things, which the Tauren are, so it could be really cool to see more of them. Aside from the smaller chain we got in DF the last we saw of them was in Legion.
How so? Genuine question. Thrall was like the one Orc who wasn’t doing the warmongering and conquering in Warcraft’s RTS and story that I remember.
Then in WoW, most of the Orc story, is about being bulking brutes for war with a Barbarian like culture. That fight to secure and and resources for their people.
But without the war for the Orcs, their stories kinda stopped happening beyond Thrall.
Good luck hating the race behind the reason the faction was founded to begin with.
That’s like hating humans and playing Alliance, same thing but mirrored.
Orcs vs. Humans is the origins of Warcraft as a whole, all other races are just friends and company lol.
Well, that’s how it was until Sylvanas and elves have been getting a lot of attention, TWW is gonna be about humans and elves, dwarves, among other things.
Orcs are the foundation of the Horde, and when it comes to the Horde, it’s about orcs. The same goes for the Alliance. I don’t think any scaly creature has any right to suggest changing the foundation of the Horde.
Was ONLY used really in Naz’jatar. Beyond that he is barely used in game.
Died quick AF in terms of screen time. Now he’s a soon to be Loa. But we don’t see him much, or get much story with him.
We’ve not gotten much story with at all, honestly.
Was front and center for a while, yes. But there were still a LOT of Orc themes and stories going on alongside him.
Yes, but a lot of people don’t claim her as Horde stories, because she got the Villain Card. So I’m not sure if I’d count her.
She also wasn’t featured as much typically as Orcs were until Legion, and in BfA there was a lot of Orc storyline alongside hers. To give the Horde Focal points to the Orcs.
We barely even get any orc stories at all nowadays? Saurfang was the last one and he was about the only orc doing things in the faction war expac of bfa.
