Nah. Lets just make all the card items available again in game. They provide nothing of value and are only cosmetic anyway.

Yeah, thatâs the ideal scenario. 
If it bothers you that much, donât spend years farming gold in order to buy a mount. Same with real money.
You gotta learn lessons like these in order to function properly.

While I agree with your point it depends on the acquisition method for me at least.

I just think that the coolest things are tests of knowledge/ability followed by dedication, and then unique. The best example being the mage tower book where itâs a high quality mount from a set of class challenges, and then the nazjatar crab which is a unique mount you get by doing all the content of a zone.
Both of these, in my mind, are preferable to logging on and getting the wandering ancient. Or an old TCG mount from watching somebody else play the game.
To clarify Iâm fine with TCG being reimplemented, I just dislike how theyâre going about it.
I wonder if theyâll do mop cm set recolors with timewalking cms or something eventually.

agreed, on the topic of MoP CM they did recolors of them but removed all the cool aspects of each set which kinda defeats the purpose.
Yeah, they pruned the cool bits, but there are still like 2+ alternative tints of the full set in the game files thatâŚmaybe theyâll use some day? Hopefully for CM Timewalking.
Itâs the best way to bring rewards back, I think.

This fixes nothing. Community will still whine. Retail will complain they now donât get the feldrake blah blah blah. You know the deal.
Iâm down as long as itâs a challenge to get like the book mount (maybe not that âhardâ tho but you get it), having cool rewards for your effort is nice.
The forums will always whine and complain, the only reason I come here is to have a laugh at the peopleâs complaints.
Itâd be faithful to the mode to just scale people down to a certain ilev, then have the timers for bronze, silver and gold. 
Thereâs a timewalking achievement tab now so maybe itâs something thatâs being considered or explored.
Fingers crossed. CM speedruns were sooo fun.

Well, Iâm glad things are brought back. It was your choice to fork out gold or money.
Itâs a friggin game, expect everything and anything.

Invincible, Mimirons Head, Ashes of Alâar, any store mount.
Why donât they just make it to where if you acquire a 2nd copy of the same mount you can combine them into a mount with same design but new cooler paint job. I would be first in line running back to icecrown citadel.

Iâve it and I donât want something new, even among TCG mount owners, thereâs players that want these mounts for everyone and new mounts in game as rewards, promotions could use removed/limited content.
I wonât benefit from it and remove the progress from in game mounts.
Itâs about time. The Pandaren/Monks still havenât gotten a decent red/gold outfit in almost 10 years.
