We all get High Warlord just how many you get is the difference!
You must not have played back in vanilla. Queues were pretty long because you were only matched against your server and if a premade started losing to another premade they would usually just let the other team win so that they can move on to the next game.
So…I don’t really see how thats any different from how things are playing out now, its just on a much larger scale.

AFKing for PvP gear has always been BIS in classic if you weren’t sharing the account with friends / guildies.

there is no decay. ranking on a seasonal server is already a joke.

found 5 different services selling ranks in SoD.
maybe that’s who we’re hearing from…

Yeah i realized after I typed that. Still you assume someone who dislikes the afk no pvp meta is automatically profiled as a ranking service provider?!
most folks don’t realize how large and sophisticated these services are. many are from overseas with large staffs and advertising.
no one did AB when AV was so much more lucrative. PvP is based on suffering thru a gear grind and being at the continual mercy of better geared players, especially rogues.
if AB allows a quick gear up, everyone gets to an even playing field faster, then you have the PvP you want…
unless…
Even if they change honor back everyone will just afk on AV weekend instead
