This is something that they should have done early on as they’ve done it in the past with the molten core raid and serpentshrine but we only got to do the last boss of course. Like always it would be an option and it wouldn’t force people who make their own groups to do it, all the previous tools would still exist.
Yeah we know. You only spammed a gazillion lfr threads every week back when Mop, and Wod were current lol.
Made the world a better place. Be the change you wanna see
There’s this button called “Start Group,” I suggest using it.
It’s still here so you didn’t change much Have to admit I do miss those threads kind of. Made for interesting entertainment lol.
make it like world bosses or just add a queue and call it
Time doesn’t repeat but it does rhyme. There isn’t really any dumb content high end players are forced into anymore. Professions suck but can just sell runs to offset that.
Except nowhere did I make a claim about schedules or specific friends. OP complained about the Timewalking raid. Follow the directions I gave at any time of day with no friends required and you can make a group for the Timewalking raid in five minutes. That can also be done for M+. And for the current raid. And WoW Made Easy exists. Also no schedule required.
The solutions are right there. Normal and up raids are not in auto queue for a reason: player agency with their groups for the higher difficulties of content.
You guys are right. I’ll start my own group and reject everyone who isn’t 630+ and hasn’t cleared current tier mythic raid yet. About 100 so far, but I’ll find competent players eventually! After all, my group, my decision right?
You can do whatever you want. No one cares. But… trying to make a point here is not working. It’s overly dramatic. DPS are always going to find longer queues, need to apply to more groups, etc. Because they’re DPS. Not “you don’t have a Mythic raid ilevel.” There’s a boatload of DPS for limited spots. That’s the way things are. Maybe don’t take it so personally.
So either party leaders have enough time on their hands to carefully sift through all applicants to discern which are the best (doubt) or they just click at random, leaving others in limbo or wasting 1/5 of their application spots. Why do wow players take so much pride in wasting people’s time? If there’s too many dps, auto-accept the ones that meet your pre-defined criteria, and close applications once slots are full.
Don’t like the rules set for their party? start your own.
Gladly! see the message above
Basically, yeah. You can do that.
There’s no reason in hell i would invite someone that i think that is bad for the group, or won’t do more dmg than the healers
100% agree TW raids need to be in LFR.
It’s a video game. We’re all wasting our own time. And no one is beholden to you.
Did it ever occur to you that they just didn’t even get to your listing as they were choosing everyone else? If you’re in there for more than a minute or two, leave and find other groups. Apply to several at once.
I spent most of Remix doing this and always do this during Timewalking, as well.
Well that and they are scaled content. So your stats are all adjusted for that content.
Not anymore. It scales like Chromie Time now.
Edit as I got ahead of myself: it will scale like CT. Not yet though.
I’ll just quote myself.
Filters like ilvl aren’t about needing that amount of ilvl to do the content, especially for Timewalking. It’s about filtering for the people who are already geared and thus would be more skilled at the game.
This is assuming most party finder leaders are making rational choices (they aren’t).
It’s one thing to be checking wowlogs for parse % when pugging heroic/mythic.
It’s another thing to be arbitrarily choosing ilvl for timewalking raids that are scaled.
