Weirdly enough I did create a “borg” guy I thought about race changing to come SL.
Do love mechagnomes, just kinda committed to Horde so that’s the best I can do in regards to that theme, hehe.

Nothing wrong with liking mechagnomes, I love the mecha community here and wish I was more invested in this character. I’d make a mecha warlock but I already started a human hoping I can make her look a bit more exotic prepatch. If after that I’m still not satisfied then I have the name Rusted on reserve I’d just need to figure out what cloth looks good on them as gleaming gold on a warlock is pure cognitive dissonance.

That’s why is use silver components. Silver being used to guard against evil and appearing several times in the Goetia for protective amulets. My brother Dweezle though is all rusted since as a hunter he just stays out when it rains.

Just using an example to illustrate the point that Mechagnomes aren’t so bad. I did say live and let live after all.
I don’t think it much matters. We’re all weird. I RP on RP realms for fun. The amount of weird stuff people do isn’t limited to just playing a mechagnome and RP’ing on the forums. There’s much worse out there.
Roleplaying is quite fun, not sure the heat it takes. It sometimes requires you to say more than “lmao! nice!” and makes you type and use your imagination.
I find weird that people find roleplayers weird in a game like WoW of all games.

The problem there is people don’t understand it, and by association, that makes people cautious of it. I’d never tried RP before until the end of WoD, and I thought going on an RP realm would be good for trolling. It wasn’t until I got hit with it in the head one day that: “Holy crap. These people are having more fun than me.” and I decided to give it an honest shot.

Now I get to roleplay as a SENTIENT Swiss army knife.
I still don’t know what half of these tools do, but I just assume they are for stabbing unless proven otherwise.
