I currently have a frost dk. I feel like a damn glass cannon and from the look in the forums, I see I am not the only one with this problem.
So, I am looking to change classes.
I been looking into warrior. What can you guys tell me about the specs? Good? Bad?
Main issue with my frost dk is dmg and survivability.
Will I have those issues with, let’s say, Fury or Arms?
Yes. DK is currently in a better spot than warrior, pvp and pve.
Unholy is what you’re looking for.

Really? I read that Unholy was more of a ramp up than Frost. How can unholy be better than frost in regular pve (trash, questing, yada yada)?
Well, other than DK, what other class would you point me to?
Monk, Ret, Feral.
Enh is similar to warrior in that it’s made of butter, but it does way more damage at the moment.

I wouldn’t look anywhere based on tuning right now. That’s very silly.
It’s not silly if you think about it.
According to general consensus, shamans have been a crappy spec since dawn of time. Now, they seem to be getting a bit better. There are no promises that Frost DK will be better, or what kind of tuning they will make it, if they make it. I am not playing the game because I have a chance of the class I am playing with, might be “playable” or even good in next upcoming updates. I want to play a class that feels good. Period.
If I wanted to play a class that feels like crap or mediocre, I would have kept playing feral in BFA and watch literally everyone else, out dps me with so much less effort.
Do not confuse me with the peeps that use the class-flavor of the month.
I want a melee class that:
1- Feels like I can complete with other classes in DPS.
2- I can play solo (like trash mobs, quests, some elites, etc)
3- Have decent survivability. I don’t want to play a glass cannon.

And that’s been incorrect rather often. General consensus is worthless if the only reason it’s believed is that others believe it.
Everything is “playable”.
Feeling good is utterly subjective and individual. As well as subject to change.
Feral wasn’t bad for almost all of bfa…?

Ok, thank you for your opinion. From the looks of your post replies, all you do is quote little pieces of text that people write and write the complete opposite of it. You are like those people that create Yelp accounts just to complain that the Mcdonalds you have gone numerous times, messed up your order once or twice.
Btw, I am curious, what other kind of classes have you played?
I would love to see actual proof that all classes have been able to do elites. Maybe you haven’t played for example, rogue and tried to solo an elite, because there is no one else around you.

This has to be a joke, right?
Soloing elites is your benchmark for a class being capable? This isn’t classic, mate.

I use to play UH DK a lot and played 2h frost back in the day. I am absolutely loving Arms warrior. It is a straight forward cheek clapping spec. I am having a lot of fun with it. People will probably disagree, but Warrior is kinda like DK minus the magic. Same kind of in your face playstyle. Should try it out!
