Champion track gear not turning into Heroic appearance once upgraded to 5/8

Just as the title says. I have a piece of champion track gear that did not upgrade to the heroic appearance when upgraded to 5/8.

I have had other pieces upgrade in appearance but in this case a belt, “Girdle of the Gleaming Dawn” did not change appearance and I only have the normal appearance despite it being upgraded fully to 8/8.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Items that drop from the world bosses only keep the base appearance regardless of upgrade track. In this particular case, you can only earn and use that specific heroic belt appearance on a paladin.
