Is it a safe bet to use the catalyst on some champ gear i’ve just gotten, for Tier?

If you don’t intend to get hero track soon, yes.
I’ll be using my charges on conquest gear either way.

Depends on if youll get any heroic gear soon. Generally good idea to wait at least till first vault.

Yes but I’d wait until you clear the raid this week first if you plan on it so you don’t waste the catalyst on something that might drop for you.

Hold catalyst charges to fill in gaps that other gear doesn’t fill.

Then you’ll have full tier and people will be saying yOu’Re sO lUcKy :wink:

I think i read on wowhead its advised to wait until you have the tier gear already before spending on the catalyst, which…i cant figure out why.

I think the whole point is to get set bonuses asap, and combat bad rng.

According to a streamer would say yes. Head , shoulder , chest , and ect …Not on veteran gear. Only champion gear.

I always wait until I have enough charges and tier pieces to complete my set. That way I dont convert something that I then get at the same level the next time I run a raid.
