Challenge modes for leveling

Figure I put my suggestion here

Why don’t we try to find a way to tie in old content but make it relevant/ rewarding for players that have mains, tmogs to collect or just want something different?

I give you My idea of leveling Revamped.

In essence anyone that hits max level, upon creating a new character you will get the option to participate in challenges, these challenges can range from Hardcore, Heroic difficulty, specific expansions and more.

These characters attempting the challenge can earn rewards that can be transferred to your main. Example would be Gold, reputation, currencies ETC for things like quests completed, dungeons completed ETC.

Your leveling character can only interact with other characters leveling or attempting your specific challenge unless you are attempting a solo challenge.

In addition all older expansion content would be set to level 60 with new content such as midnight being set to lvl 70.

You leveling as a character would choose your expansion path. Burning crusade, WOTLK, Legion, BFA ETC.

Upon hitting lvl 60 you can choose to continue your challenge or choose to drop the challenge to continue on to endgame.

All Older Raid content would be converted into 5 man dungeons.

Some challenges can be small or difficult Such as Leveling in the burning crusade with the objective to Kill Illidan. Or leveling through WOTLK with the intent to kill The Lich King.

I would imagine the smart thing to do would be to have these leveling challenges on rotation allowing groups of players to gather for 2 weeks to take shots at attempting these challenges, they could even be made linear.

Rewards could range from small to things like getting a high chance to acquire the mount Invincible.

Utilization of delves and the prey system could be utilized for folks leveling in high stake challenges.

it would be nice for blizzard to utilize its older content in ways to engage players looking to take a breather from end game content.
