Sooo, anychance, we get some sort of cool challenge mode or mythic+ style of challenge modes for Shadowlands? I’m super tired of using this same gear since mop. I thought about changing it up, but there’s not even any unique druid sets for bfa =\
What? Are you telling us you’re tired of your mog?
If so, why would you think the new mogs would be any more to your liking?

beyond that, its nice to have something difficult to work toward, and be able to show for it, for more than 1 patch… Isn’t that the point of this game?

I think they need more content for everyone. BfA is really light on that.
But if you haven’t found a satisfactory new mog since Pandaria, the idea that you’d like one just because it’s a challenge mode mog sounds really unlikely.
BfA has the same content we’ve always had, and then some.
Only thing it doesn’t have is a Mage Tower from Legion. And that is making a sort of comeback in Shadowlands.
CM rewards were much more entertaining to chase after than… well, basically anything from the M+ system.
I’d love to see them do something like giving token rewards for the first +15 dungeon of a certain time requirement you finish, that you could eventually collect one of from each dungeon, and buy a set of exclusive armor with that.
Unfortunately, it seems Blizzard is content with M+ being the premier content of the game, potentially risking the death of organized raiding, and also not giving immediately recognizable rewards to players who push themselves in anything.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and they do a new form of Mage Tower challenges. Probably the best anyone can hope for.

I get it. As far as you’re concerned island expeditions are icing on the cake for casuals who don’t deserve real content like you and your godlike imaginary main do.

I’m saying BfA has the same content we’ve always had, and then threw in a few extra modes. I even mentionned that something that is lacking is something like Legion’s Mage Tower, but otherwise, BfA isn’t “light on content”, unless the entirety of all WoW expansions have been “light on content”.

Shadowlands is said to be the ‘‘customization’’ expac, perhaps they’ll offer up fresh new mogs and such. But look at it this way, at least you aren’t a mail wearer… those sets are just horrid.
I do agree more ‘‘challenge’’ content that offers fun little cosmetics would be nice.
We do have a lot of content in BfA, but most of it is repetitive and usually boring.

It’s very likely. it could look like as, but having something that i really worked hard toward earning feels good. I loved the fact that when im wearing this mog, i get whispers all the time (how’d you get that) (wheres that from) (how long did it take to get it) It makes you feel like you worked hard and where rewarded for said hard work.

Well, it is common knowledge that the Challenge Mode gear is the most attractive, aesthetically.
Take my paladin’s gear for example: it looks so great that I haven’t changed it since 2012 when I first got it.
This doesn’t mean that I’m not tired of it. I would love for Blizzard to re-instate challenge modes and finally create a set of gear that would be attractive enough to warrant me finally changing transmog for the first time in almost a decade.
Also, Challenge Modes are a lot of fun. Doing M+ is not fun as you can easily just out-gear the M+ key you are attempting; thus, M+ really is just a grind with little to no skill expression.

Well, we know that KSM will be active during season one of Shadowlands. The title award for doing 10s in every key is Sinful and the mount from 15s is one of them death elementals.
Would I like a more specific / obvious challenge mode / mage tower kind of thing which gives a transmog set? Absolutely. Will it happen? Probably not.
