With the new MoP Timerunning event coming I was looking forward to potential Challenge Mode Recolors coming when I saw the post saying the ability to obtain rewards you could no longer obtain unless you played during MoP (To me and many others it seemed as if that was directed specifically to the Scenarios of MoP for the Challenge Mode sets). But come to find out they aren’t implementing them which on PTR I have seen many people discussing on why they wouldn’t just release a recolor for them like they did with Legion Mage Tower.
A recolor wouldn’t take away from the prestigious achievement of obtaining the original’s but also allow those with the originals to also want to do CM Gold again, and players who weren’t able to obtain them during MoP a chance to get these highly desired sets. It just doesn’t seem fitting to have no Challenge Mode set rewards or anything related to getting Gold in CM and releasing a MoP Timerunning event the Challenge Mode/ Scenarios were arguably the biggest part of MoP PvE content, I don’t think it would of been much more difficult adding a recolor to them and or tweaking them ever so slightly from the OG sets in comparison to making 30 recolors of old questing sets and raid sets… It just seems like a fall short in the event. Before anyone says anything about the Legion Order Hall sets yes those are somewhat close to the CM sets but they lack a lot of the animation and detail of the challenge mode rewards and are hardly comparable.
I know blizzard has heard people request this time and time again with the WoD CM weapons and so forth and yet they release a MoP Timerunning event and leave out what people have been requesting? I’ll enjoy the event as it is something new and fresh with the abilities, but blizzard could have done some very cool things with rewards for scenarios and achieving somewhat of a KSM Mount style reward system with Challenge Mode rewards.

Legion had slightly different versions of the CMs that are recolored. I hope that helps!

I’m sour because they literally recolored everything from MOP including mounts EXCEPT the cm sets. Like give me a friggin break. I’m not asking for free cm sets, I just want something I can earn via a challenging accomplishment that isn’t from the freakin trading post. And 3 piece sets don’t count
WTB someone who liked the Legion CM recolor sets (Class Hall class sets) to further prove Kizant wrong. Any takers?

No they were awful in comparison to the CM sets and also I addressed how the Legion Sets do not look similar enough to the CM sets. A lot of them lack the detail of the CM Sets the Warrior, DK, Rogue come to mind just right off the top of my head without looking. They arent close enough to even consider them recolors of the set but more they took slight design aspects from the CM set and made a D tier Class Hall Set.
They already have recolors of the challenge mode sets. Go and get your Legionfall campaign set
