I suppose my issue boils down to the fact that there was very little reason to DO dungeons back then. As opposed to now where Mythic Plus is a viable alternative to endgame raiding.

Apparently a reason to do them were challenge appearances. You should have tried.

Guildmate got the Zulian tiger when it was farmable. Then they put it on the BMAH. Guy was really frustrated. Talks about it weekly how much it pisses him off

People pretend it wont hurt anyone. But having your accomplishments diminished isnt enjoyable.

Blizzard should absolutely not do this. And this is coming from someone who played in WoD and didn’t earn a single piece of challenge mode gear.

They were trophies for that time. They’re limited and exclusive, and should remain that way.

Earn the limited trophies from BfA, like the pvp sets.

No. The BMAH was never meant for challenge appearances to be bought for no effort after they were limited time.

There is no limited time challenge appearance on the BMAH. And there never ever ever should be.

Limited time, you earned it, you get to be proud of it without your effort being given the middle finger after someone uses gold to buy it.

BMAH helped us to get things that were removed-- not because they were limited time challenges, but because they had to be removed after some content was revamped for the Wrath and Cata updates.

Agree. I got the Druid and Priest sets, and would’ve really liked to have earned the Paladin, Shaman, and Monk sets aswell.

But I didn’t, and so I’ve missed out.

That should be the end of it. Blizzard can make new transmog for us to earn.

Apparently you don’t, if you did you wouldn’t be asking for them to be obtainable again. The order hall sets are similar if you want something that looks like it.

Not the DK one or the Warlock order hall sets, those look like trash. some are nice, the paladin, priest and shaman order hall sets for example.

No, you missed out period. Exclusivity is to important to this game now more than ever! Ask for a new mage tower/challenge mode not the old ones. Btw I missed out on mop, WoD, but got almost all of legion. I still wouldn’t ask for mop and WoD ones to come back even though I would want them… I respect the exclusivity.

It doesn’t moot out the chance for new content, and besides. It’s been 4 years, and we have a much better and more fleshed out system for making dungeons more challenging. So why not make them just as hard, if not harder to get, now that we “Have the Technology”?

Yeah, and while we’re at it we could do new appearances and not recycle them.

Nope. You snooze you lose imo. I missed out would like certain sets, but I understand there’s no going back. Making them acquirable again would completely destroy any kind of “hey you did something cool” that retail has left.

I also worked hard for a few specific ones that I knew I couldn’t live without. Allowing people to get them again after they said they wouldn’t would be stupid. They’ve done it with too many things via the BMAH already imo.

I personally have all of the druid mage tower artifact appearance’s. It would not bother me in the slightest if everyone was able (with scaling) to at least be able to try for them. Removing items and appearance’s from the game bugs me on a personal level and breeds the toxic community behavior that has caused many of my friends to quit playing.
With scaling, majority of these things should by all means still be accessible. Adding feats of strength and/or titles for having obtained them in the proper time period seems more justified given that’s what feats/titles are there for. This would help allow them to still be somewhat difficult to obtain but also giving something to the players that achieved the accolades back in the day.
