This is just a personal Challenge that may be for the greater good, I Think. LOL. anyhow. I am self withdrawing from the AH or trading at all. I guess it starts with my own dislike for the issues of the Overwhelming call to end botting. anyhow that is my goal and plan. Enjoy the game all!

I’m honestly not that surprised to see GD posters are now trying to conflate using the AH with botting.
at this rate within a week people will be posting threads saying anybody who sells things on the AH is a cheater

Just if I want to solve an issue I can self withdraw from using the AH. it isn’t a matter of cheating or anything just understanding that self withdraw from the machine is a personal solution. if you wish to use the AH, by all means go ahead 
I’ve effectively pulled out of the AH at this point as well. Used to do a LOT of trading and playing with sales, but the way things have been of late has been too disconcerting to continue.

Good luck! Some other games actually have a mode for stuff like this called ironman.

Wow. Brave stance at a time when gold is plentiful and easy to obtain outside the AH, and also almost entirely irrelevant because there’s almost nothing you need to spend it on.
I don’t understand the reasoning behind this. Leaving the AH for the greater good? Greater good of what? The AH is where I pay for my game vs forking cash to bliz, other than that, it’s fun seeing what’s valuable and what’s junk.

Since I bought a legendary shoulders… I don’t think I bought anything from the auction house in over an expansion. I sell frequently but I don’t buy that’s crazy
I have almost every crafting profession maxed (I hate gathering). I still buy crafted items from the AH. It is a combination of laziness and that many things (such as potions and gearing a newly maxed alt) are cheaper than cost.
They are wrong! Simply logging on or posting in the forums supports the bots they should quit wow and stay quiet and not make dumb GD post. Thats how you beat the bots!
