Can’t even compete with wildfire. Yea they cut the cost of focus a bit but still won’t even be looked at. Atleast birds of prey is chosen for some builds here and there. Man atleast buff the damage and leave it how it is. Or maybe make it where it gives focus. Idk something should be done though. Thoughts?

Its funny how Ion was just talking about how activatable talents should never under perform against passives in the same tier. Yet survival has talents like Chakrams, Butchery, Steel Trap, and Murder of Crows, that significantly under perform in comparison to the passives of their tiers.
Now some of these talent are useable in very niche ways. Steel Trap and MoC are good in PvP, while Butchery is decent in some M+. Overall though, most competitive Suvival talents other than mongoose bite (which is just a replacement) are pretty much passives.

To be honest they need to make ALOT of hunter talents baseline for the spec if they ever hope to see light… Giving survival chakrams baseline would add to aoe cleave toolkit or even butchery as a talent they just arent good enough to bother…and thats hunter specs in generals issue. Too many talents that should just be baseline because they make no sense as a talent when they wernt expansions before.
