Chair suggestions?

preach brother

I have an old office chair with pillows in it and it suffices. Those car baby seat gamer chairs are silly.

Oh my brother is 6’5 and has a varidesk he likes tremendously.

Really, it all comes down to the deal, I needed something super comfortable too as someone that works behind a desk for 10hrs + 7 days a week, and plays wow on top of that. In my office I use a Herman Miller Titanium Aeron. I was lucky enough to find one about an hour and a half drive away for just $100, this chair however retails for around $1000 if bought brand new.

At home I have a DXRacer Zero series that I purchased for $400 when it was on sale, Secret labs wasn’t out then, though I’d give their Titan a try over a DXRacer as it looks a bit better in comparison. Though if I ever come across a crazy good deal on a herman miller titanium aeron I’m getting another one of those for at home.

i’ve never liked office or “gamer” chairs i use a recliner with a blanket thrown over it extremely comfy, just gotta make sure your desk is the right size, if its not then some 2x4s and a plank of wood you can make a custom desk to fit your needs like i did

I have the Titan, love it. Go Secret Lab

This one is perfect for extended sitting: https://www.amazon.com/Herman-Miller-CN122AWAAG1G1BB3512-Embody-Balance/dp/B07NH4SHQB/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Herman+Miller+CN122AWAAG1G1BB3512+Embody+Chair%2C+Carbon+Balance&qid=1566230751&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Standing desk and a good floor mat. Lets you go squats while flying spot to spot.

Ditch the chair, and do what I did to prepare for classic. I bought a stand-up desk for playing, and simulate walking (I walk in place) when going from place to place, actually makes the immersion alot better.

Global Concorde 2424 chair. The best chair I ever used but unfortunately don’t have at home or my current job.

Steelcase, Herman Miller, Teknion, Global and few others are well known for good office chairs. A high back task chair from any of them should be good enough. Can also check out used office furniture places.

Looking on the bottom should say when they were made. I wouldn’t get anything over 5 years old.

6’0 here, I got a chair from Noble chairs, arms hight and back for me amazingly, has an additional support you can add for lumbar, made with real leather so it will last forever, and the cushions are firm but soft at the same time, I have a super boney butt so my bones tend to cut right down to hard surfaces under most chairs, this doesn’t do that at all. And I’ve had it for 2.5 years, still amazing condition. I have changed out the arms once, which they did for free.

Well… you better hop to it then… :stuck_out_tongue:

Ba-dum-tis lol, good one
