I know Sylvanas is the last boss in the next raid but does anyone know if she dies? Honestly if she is dead I will just cancel my account. The rest of the characters especially Anduin are extremely cookie cutter and generic to be blunt boring. Without her there is nothing of interest.
She’s the Gul’dan 2.0
Gul’dan was bought out in the spotlight in WoD so that he can cause Legion, then he died in a raid
Sylvanas was bought out in the spotlight in Legion and BfA, those two expansions led up to the events of Shadowlands, what do you think will happen in 9.1?
Look it’s called chains of domination and sylvannas is in it, safe to say there will be some weird kinky stuff going on. I doubt she will die. (Again)
If we don’t let the furries in the raid it may be ok.
We don’t know yet. The finale and her fate is being kept secret for dramatic effect.
But you really shouldn’t expect Sylvanas to make it through this expansion. SL is pretty clearly the end of her story in WoW.
for as long as steve works at blizz, shes aint going nowhere. shes gonna be the main spotlight character for the rest of the game lifespan
this. Sylvannas is the kerrigan of the warcraft franchise. she will be become a godess infused with some sorf of holy grail magic and stop w/e evil lurks around. Sylvannas and Kerrigan share the SAME lore if you think about it
Sylvanas didn’t feel pity of killing the night elves at Darnassus
Her story is the best as is her character. Killing her off I think would be a horrid move. I can’t consider her Gul Dan. He was never as popular as she is. I don’t think I’m the only one that would leave the game without her. If she dies the slow death of wow begins as boredom causes a loss of interest for anyone who liked the story. And new players only get the B movie plot with her gone and just play something else.
They don’t make a statute of her, sell merchandise that revolves her, showcase the voice actor, and plaster her on so much promotional material just to kill her.
I don’t know exactly when it happened, maybe BFA, but they realized they could make someone be a raid boss, and the defeat didn’t mean the person died. So now they can basically keep around any raid boss they like without the fear that being defeated in a raid means they are dead. Heck, they have already done it with Denathrious in SL and admitted they liked him too much to have him die.
Girl bye
The rest of us are beyond done with her.
Not a chance she dies in the raid. She’s getting the Jaina/Mechatorque treatment for sure.
Denathriuos is still gone tho. Mite as well be dead. will be years before we see him again.
More like we’ll see him whenever Blizzard decides to bring him back. You didn’t hear them talk about him at Blizzcon?
If they redeem her, I will cancel my account.
See how that works? Not everyone is going to like hwo things are done.
I think her boss fight is going to be a two-parter with Nathanos Blightcaller
lol I’m pretty certain that’s the minority. There is a large number of players to which she is the favorite character. Her fanbase is much more significant and loyal then her haters. The end of her story is the end of the story for without exaggerating thousands more likely hundreds of thousands of players.
We are everywhere and nowhere
Kinky chains of domination.
Doubt it, I doubt she gonna die, but I don’t think she is getting such a rosy fate:
When Anduin comes back and delivers the key to the Jailer, you can see in Sylvanas eyes that she’s still conflicted, and this will be a big part of our story as Chains of Domination unfolds. This is the first time we’re showing what Sylvanas true motivations are, and players will have a better understanding of why she did what she did, but that doesn’t excuse her. She still burned Teldrassil, she’s still guilty of many deaths, and she still has a lot to answer for. We’re not forgetting that and we won’t be giving Sylvanas a pass. When someone does what she did, it can’t be as simple as ‘oh, she did this one thing and now she’s redeemed’. That’s not the story we’re telling, but it is something that we will address throughout Chains of Domination and also in the future
Surely that can’t be the only reason you play WoW though? In this vast game with all its history and many characters, and all the gameplay elements too, Sylvanas is the only reason you stick around? Seems like a fragile reason.
But having fans doesn’t mean she can’t have her time finished. WoW’s had many iconic and popular characters over the years, quite a few are dead now. She’s not exempt from that. Stories and characters are about progression, but they have to end eventually. Her time is coming.
