By itself, eh. Now with Stormkeeper…WHOW!!!
If we still had MoPs version of Fire and Brimstone, particularly with a certain talent, I would easily be able to change your mind. Nothing is more satisfying than launching 20 Chaos Bolts into an AoE pull… nothing…
Alas those days are no more and I can’t really think of anything. Not unless you count Torghast, in which case amassing an army of 5 Tyrants, 15+ felpuppies, a half dozen Felguards and Hounds, as well as about 100 imps is pretty satisfying. And then clicking Implosion with those 100 imps… shudder feels gooooooood…
I thoroughly enjoyed my Destruction warlock back in MoP. Got my fel fire, and if I recall I could also move slowly while casting… at least incinerate.
The one redeeming factor of Torghast (for me) is the whacky OP capability of my toons in there. If there is one thing they take from Torghast going forward in WoW, I am hoping it’s that part of it (for future similar activities, whatever they will be)
It’s definitely up there.
My issue with it is you over indulge. When you can just spam it, it becomes a little less satisfying.
For me, the most satisfying spell is a Rapid Fire that has been enhanced with Trick Shots + Double Tap.
But if you think enhancements are cheating, then I still say Living Bomb, or Arcane Barrage on a dungeon trash pack is super satisfying.
But as I said, it’s up there. It’s an “S Tier” spell.
Nah, enhancements/combos are just fine. Just wanted to see what other people thought felt “satisfying” or fun to use. I don’t play my shammy thaaaat often, but when I do I remember why I rolled ele and stuck with it all those years ago.
I main feral druid/monk most of the time, and the AoE of my feral is meh compared to the simple but visually appealing effect of Chain Lightning.
I also thoroughly enjoy Keg Smash and Special Delivery for Brewmaster. I think Brewmaster is my favorite toon to do AoE with.
Divine toll was the best button I’ve ever hit on any character I think.
I have seen several people mention this and I don’t really get the appeal? I have a Kyrian paladin (ret/holy) and I like it for my Holy build because it puts multiple shocks on my allies (I have a shock spam kind of build) but I don’t think it’s that fun. But I am not a fan of paladins. Although I somehow have four of them…
I prefer to be in a group with a paladin and watch them use Divine Toll, I guess.
I’m not knocking it, I am just not hyped for it, I guess.
It was the sound and watching the health bars go up or down drastically all of a sudden. Sort of reminds me of the bells in the Metallica song for whom the bells toll at the beginning. So metal.
Obviously you never used Hurricane before they removed it from Druids…
Nah, frozen orb exploding bovine shaped popsicles

You’re making the case.
It’s your job to convince us.
Been this way since Warcraft 3
Hurricane was alright, I remember it had a cool spell effect. I never got into Balance though… I have always been Feral. I did make good use of instant cast Cyclones back in the day in PvP. Good times! I always loved druids utility and their class flavor.
Chain Lightning empowered by Stormkeeper is top-tier for sure.
Hand of Guldan followed by Implosion into a big crowd of adds is right up there, mostly because of the sound mix. HoG sounds literally like a bomb going off.
Hurricane feels the best im sorry.
Cl is a close 2nd tho!!
I would contend that the most satisfying spell to use is Thunderstorm on the lumber mill ledge in AB or in mid of EotS, preferably when either is packed. Nothing like seeing a a bunch of stereotypical melee tunneling on their opponents and paying no attention to their environment flying off into oblivion.
Wow. Way to both change my mind and call me out in one fell swoop.

prot divine toll.
Slappy hands on Rygelon is quite amusing.
I don’t think I can change your mind, but I think Chaos Bolt comes pretty close but like, the old animation.
Big cast time for huge bolt for massive damage.
It’s less satisfying now with all the haste and the infinite shards, but still nice.
I feel it is on par or close to Chain Lightning, not better though.
