Has there been word on whether those of us who don’t have Classic will still be able to get the new Celestial mounts from Pandaria eventually?

Classic is somehow getting brand new mounts, which makes no sense.

I mean, if you look at it from a marketing and money making perspective, people are paying the same sub for both versions, but they still have to purchase the other version. And then if blizzard can get the KPI’s and metrics to back up the fact that classic MOP was extremely popular, the stakeholders will be happy. The money all comes from the same place minus the purchase of the expansion and certain bonuses that come with it. But at the end of the day, they’re trying to cook the books so that both games look successful and they can get green lit for the next project.
Only reason to even play this mode is the new mounts and symbiosis
They added a lot of the unique weapon mogs to the anniversary event. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did something similar for the new mounts.
That… or tear the bandaid off and make classic cycle and unlock transmog on live.
Blizzard will probably do this with the launch of BFA Classic when the game will no longer have any transmog that anyone cares about.
Yeah, that sucks. I’ll admit that it low key annoys me that Classic gets any dev time outside of what’s needed to keep the servers running.

If you are talking about the Celestial Jade serpent thingy, it is available in retail by doing the panda classic quest to get a starting panda off the wandering isle.
Do that and boom! You got a new mount-in-a-box in your collections on Retail.
They’re referring to the 4 celestials becoming mounts themselves.

I’m pretty sure the Heavenly Jade Serpent is on the Timewalking vendor in Retail. So we’d better see the others on there, too.

Ive been keeping an eye on the MoP classic page on Wowhead and there has been nothing yet about them.
I was playing around in the MoP Classic dressing room on Wowhead and at least from that it looks like their Heavenly Jade Serpent is going to be saddleless and will awkwardly ride bareback.
