Oh wow, I didn’t realize it was beginning so soon.

Too bad most of my raid group is still away because of Blizzcon. I was hoping to wrangle a bunch of them into doing the anniversary raid.

Oh well, maybe next week.

Ok but really pushing 8.3 out tomorrow? I expected a few more weeks at least.

Think you’re a bit confused. 8.3 isn’t until December.

The Anniversary stuff has been in the game since 8.2.5, but wasn’t actually able to be done until the actual anniversary.

Part of the coding is in 8.3. So unless somehow they extract the anniversary stuff from 8.3 without doing the whole 8.3 but that’s awkward.

I don’t remember once, every hearing “December” release for 8.3. I know that the charity pet is also in 8.3 coding and that also needs to be in before December. So making up dates doesn’t help you. The evidence is right in front of your eyes.

Since I managed to deal with the madness…I mean fun, yes fuuuunnnnn of getting the Core Hound for the 10th anniversary I’m well prepared for the fun of getting the Obsidian Worldbreaker.

Seriously, the only thing more funner then going after the Worldbreaker would be herding a bunch of cats.

How many % is the exp boost from anniversary buff?

What level can try the raids?

Si dont know what are u talking. Anniversary “code” was from 8.2 and 8.2.5 not 8.3 lol

And the next patch will come until next year, Ion said that.
Never in WoW History has been a patch on december.

Making things up is generally frowned upon. So if he really did say that. Easy to source. But I’ve been eagle eying everything from bliz and haven’t gotten an official anything on the release of 8.3. In fact they’ve barely talked about 8.3.

Not sure if this is true, HOWEVER. That’s all good and fine. It has to launch before December. Even if the anniversary stuff isn’t on 8.3 the charity pet sure as heck is. 8.3 will launch no later then the 26th. Raid won’t be until jan though. I’ll give ya that.

Somewhat uncommon but hardly unheard of. What I did notice is WAY more then December releases was late November. Late November releases seem incredibly common.

As a non-raider, I’m planning to run Moltan Core, pretending that the core hound mount has been added as an ultra-rare drop that I just won’t be lucky enough to get :slight_smile:
