Thirty More Minutes is a newer CE guild that formed near the end of patch 8.3. It started out as a more casual weekend guild and through progression and development is shaping up to be a competitive CE guild for Shadowlands. We view the raid roster as extremely fluid. In a sense no one has a locked spot. You have to show up and compete every week. If you’re not willing to flex multiple specs, roles or classes then it’s possible you might be sat during progression. This is normal in a CE push. Obviously on farm, everyone can play what they want within reason, but during progression if it makes sense to class stack, or make adjustments to our raid comp to get the kill on a specific encounter we will do that. Our mindset is easy. We want to have fun, but we have fun winning, so we play to win. This doesn’t mean we want to be toxic to each other, but it does mean we expect people to compete against each other and other players to make us the best possible group we can be.

Mythic Ny’alotha - We finished only 11/12 M as a guild (Many players finished CE on their own) this Expansion due to a late start, and a changing of raid days. We started to bump up to the end of the expansion and decided the focus on SL was more important and stopped progressing. Our expectations are CE every tier moving forward, especially getting to start fresh.

Requirements:
Raid Attendance (Based on 12 Raid Days per Month) - 85% or higher - If this is consistently low then you will risk losing your spot to an alternate raider or trial that has proven their commitment.
Be Prepared for the Raid - This means showing up on-time (Invites go out 15 minutes prior), having all the consumables you need (Guild Bank provides everything, and daily gold allowance of 2,000 gold to buy consumables), download or import any addons or weakauras asked to prior to raid to help with the current progression, study the encounters we’re currently progressing (avoid being surprised by mechanics).
Know your class - You should know every ability and utility your class has. You should know what your best in slot drops are from each boss, and understand how to maximize your performance. We encourage creativity, but experimental builds for “fun” that don’t help the current goal do not have place in our raid progression, save that for farm. At the beginning of a new tier we expect you to parse in the higher percentile on par with most members of the guild.
Don’t take Criticism Personally, stay competitive - Sometimes you just have to play better for the boss to die. This means all 20 people, doing better for us to continue to kill bosses. If you have room for improvement and we have something to add to help you improve we are going to let you know. This is never personal, this is so we maximize our time on raid days and make best use of that time for all other 19 players in the raid. This also means you may be sat for poor performance. Don’t assume having a core 20 man spot means you’re set for the rest of the tier. If another player comes along and hits all of the other marks, and is flat out just better, they will earn the spot. We don’t play favorites, we have loyalty to each other, but upmost we have loyalty to the guild and the raid team, and what’s best for the raid team is bringing our best players to give us the best chance to kill the boss.
Encouraged to have Alts and Off-Specs Mythic Raid Ready - We strongly encourage all raiders to carry at least 2 characters mythic ready, ideally different roles than each other. In progression it is not uncommon to learn range is stronger here, or we need another healer, or hey let’s go for a 3-tank strategy. Having that flexibility during progression is crucial and running a 2nd group allows us to stay competitive on that front giving us more repetition and getting more gear out for needed alts.
Good Team Fit - This is probably the most important of all requirements. You have to be able to fit in with the vibe of our group. If you don’t get along with us, or we don’t get along with you, then it doesn’t matter how good you are at hitting your buttons, we just shouldn’t raid together. Make sure in the trialing process you discover if we are a good team fit, because we will be doing the same.

Trial Process:
2 week process - Evaluating all of the above. You likely will only be brought to bosses we are re-clearing during your trial period. We usually want our trials to attend on our Fri/Sat raid for the trial period, but we can make exceptions when necessary to trial during the main raid days. We want to see how you perform, how you listen, and ultimately how you gel with us. We expect 100% attendance during this trial period. . After this two weeks you will be told either you’ve made the core raid team, if you’ve made the raid alternate team, or if we are going to pass on you. If you’ve made the raid alternate team you’ll be told what you need to do to improve and what is holding you back to be a core raider. We will continue to bring you to re-clear bosses and your attendance will still be counted. At any point if you prove yourself better than our current core raider in that current role, then we will make an adjustment to the roster earning you a more permanent spot.
