CDew said "2400 in Shuffle is an entry level rank in PvP"

ok i get it now i fell for the bait.

Everybody did. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

I feel like i’m the one that got baited tbh, don’t post again until you hit 2400.

Tbh it was a good read at first and pretty funny. But now I can sense the average mmr of the forums drop by 500 as this thread carry’s on.

hes actually pretty good at it tbh, i almost replied to him again i had to remember that hes a joke.

Ah this line hit you hard huh:

In the past Blizzard lets the bots keep going, they watch them, study them, and then they do a MASSIVE Ban wave.

Yeah these trolls have really been stepping their games up lately.

They’re not quite at Bloomsday level yet but they’re gettin there.

True
Vulpera is onto something.

Nonsense. 10 char.

I played to top 20 in shuffle (across all specs) earlier in the season. Then I stopped because the game mode is anti-fun, even at the highest level, if you want to be rewarded for skill and awareness.

Thinking it’s harder to go up in Shuffle than in 3s, regardless of inflation/deflation, is absolutely fried.

You got top 20 when people used to leave games to save MMR, early on the highest was 2600 and now people are in the 3500 range.

3k+ is every AWC player/Glad that you would see in 3s queuing up atm because it’s the only non-dead game mode.

It’s absolutely more competitive than regular 3s.

Shamble is much higher, please be nice.

Presumptuous and incorrect.

Comical that people continue to act like these terms mean remotely the same thing.

Blockbuster argument you have there.

Idk who that is.

Nah it was exactly like that for the early part of Shuffle, which judging by where you’re at now was your peak as you fell off p hard.

It might as well be the same thing, 3s is so dead you see AWC alts at 1800 matches.

I watched Venruki stream 2.2k MMR 3s and he fought the same exact meta comp team 4 times in a row before they disbanded.

Wow, such skilled gameplay.

It’s just reality.

100k+ people in Shuffle vs. 3k in 3s.

Who gives af what your dead bracket rating is.

I understand how it was, but your timeline is based on an (incorrect) assumption. And I didn’t fall off—like I said, I literally stopped queueing shuffle.

This is like saying there’s way more youth basketball players than NBA players, so youth leagues are more competitive.

This topic is pertaining to the current Shuffle meta which you’re not a part of, that’s why I don’t understand how you’re going to dismiss it despite not being able to retain a high MMR.

It’s not the same thing because WoW has no competitive leagues, 3s has been declining for years now, 2s is a meme bracket and RBGs are cringe.

The only real “competitive” bracket is where the most amount of players are, and Shuffle is clearly the only valid game mode out atm.

There’s no merit to this argument. If more people play checkers than chess, that doesn’t make checkers more competitive. It simply makes it more popular, probably in part because it’s more accessible.

Accessibility and competitiveness often have an inverse relationship.

Hilarious isn’t it Shadowlands Season 1 gearing progression most people playing.

Now you would say as you all forum and twitter warriors whined about gear progression in mmorpg.

you got WoD gearing, and it SEEMS IT MADE GAME LESS ACCESSIBLE that is why less people are playing 2s and 3s.

How does that work.

And dude Paralympics are not harder because only selected few meet requirements to compete.

So if you get top 0.5% out of 100k people, that to me shows your skill level over getting 0.5% out of 3,000 people.

It’s at 3,000 because LFG is garbage and WoW is a dying game so most people just don’t even bother.

A superior game mode like Shuffle with MORE players proves that it is the defacto bar for skill in WoW Arena.
