No one sets out to make bad games. And even good games have folks that hate them. Oversimplified post is oversimplified.

So you are claiming because they attempted too much and made a commitment to have the game out on ‘x’ day, that means they deliberately went out of their way to make a bad game. They spent millions of dollars deliberately trying to make a game people hate.

What would the reason they would do that ?

They treat their employees like crap, that’s well known. It’s also well known gamers couldn’t care less about the people making their games, as sales of RDR2 have shown.

Blizzard does make good games. They make World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Diablo, Hearthstone, and more. Just because you don’t like a game doesn’t make the game bad.

Hasn’t been a quality franchise in a very long time and is only looking worse. That is why people are worried.

Blizzard still make decent games they are just not genre defining anymore like SC, Diablo, WC and WoW were once. It could be cost , passion , talent all who knows but they most certainly are not the juggernaut they once were.

I didn’t even need to know the type of game blizzard made if it had the Blizzard logo i would buy it cause i knew it would be great and value for money and yet fast forward and they have 2 IP’s i haven’t even tried today (OW and HoTs)

I haven’t even tried Activision games on bnet ever and i most likely never will. Its not that i don’t find them interesting i just don’t have the same level of faith i used to have.

I will buy cyberpunk 2077 based on i loved Witcher series. Having this kinda of fandom is the pinnacle for gaming companies, but if you burn your playerbase to many times, they will walk away.
