Am I just stuck with this now? I hate it. I checked and unchecked the box in options to have the timer shown a million times. I didn’t enable their new CD manager, either. Am I missing something because I find this visually offensive lol

This appears to be an issue with Bartender, not the client. Waiting on a fix from that team.

For Bartender4 users only:
They are taking their time on a fix; you can fix it yourself while you wait. Open up the file (Notepad is fine):
interface/addons/bartender4/lib/libactionbutton-1.0/libactionbutton-1.0.lua, line 1956
Modify
self.cooldown:SetHideCountdownNumbers(false)
To:
self.cooldown:SetHideCountdownNumbers(true)
Confirmed working on my end once I did this.

All cooldowns come set to show numbers by default now. The addon dev needs to run Cooldown:SetHideCountdownNumbers(true) to hide them. I had to do this in my own addons.
