CC Member's take on Race/Class Combos

Apparently they can’t according to one user in this thread and that they have to remain stagnant.

Being insulting is not helping your point.

Then they aren’t Draenei? They’re Manari…

In this very thread I actually explain why Paladins make sense…

In fact you’re just regurgitating the facts I point out…

To play devil’s advocate, that is not a Druid. Botanist warp nature with arcane magic.

Maybe their dad wouldn’t give them the keys to the spaceship and they took up fel magic out of spite.

Nah classic will be there for them complete with priestless gnomes

Yeah, Blizzard hasn’t been too good when it comes to lore consistency. Also you decide nothing, not sure where you got the idea that you have any lore impact whatsoever. We just get spoken to while we mindlessly kill lol

I don’t want them there, they’re absolute control freaks and seem like sticks in the mud.

Not making a point. I am excited for what Blizzard does with race/class combos in the future and it’s genuinely exciting to see that they are looking to open up the flood gates.

Folks are already RPing taboo race/class combos and hopefully in the near future their RP becomes a reality.

If you folks don’t like the combo, then don’t play them.

Or they are curious Draenei seeking to learn new things. Try being like them and actually being open to change.

Accepting destructive magics that destroy all life? Being a Warlock is just not culturally meshing with being a Draenei and especially not a LFD, not my fault you don’t understand that.

Doesn’t culturally mesh with any race but wow, it exists.

Draenei just means they were exiled from Argus. They are, and always will be, Eredar and Eredar are corruptible and massive powerhouses when it comes to their magical capabilities.

For not embracing Fel and the Legion, see my point?

Not true, Orcs took to it like candy. Humans did as well, as did Elves. What do they have in common? A greed for power and a need to succeed at all costs.

There really isn’t an argument you can make to convince them. They basically boil down to “We don’t care about lore”. Can’t really argue that you know. I don’t really care that much either but I do like races being unique from eachother, makes the game world enriched. That won’t stop me from rolling a giant tauren rogue though who can somehow stealth lol

No they don’t. Only the super evil Orcs right? RIGHT?!

Tauren Pallys are just Druids who worship the sun, so the same could be argued for Belves that just use Arcane magic to warp nature. Tho Balance druids use Arcane magic too…

If this was a real issue, we’d never be able to be Warlocks, or Demon Hunters or DKs fighting for what our faction considers “good.” So this is a non argument.

Until Draenei/LFD decide to. Like with Nelves and Highborne.

Yeah they are.

I mean the cast tree form and Tranquility and for sure our games other Highbotanist uses nature, solar, and arcane magic. Also Druids use Arcane magic as well.

Yes and we even see that even AFTER going through all that, there are still DRAENEI that get tempted to embrace those magics. We literally see it in the first campaign of WoD.

Draenei are not infallible beings.

It’s because he has no argument at all.

I mean your arguments boil down to “well what if I want them too?” so you don’t really either. Just say you wanna be a class race combo just because. Nothing wrong with that.

Blizzard has stated that population isn’t the primary problem the Alliance is facing, it’s the different interests between populations. And you’re still gaining a few new race/class combinations, you’ll have fewer total than the Horde for whatever length of time - but you still have, by my recollection, at least 3 Alliance races available for every class (save obviously for DH).
