It’s a neat place tucked away in a zone very few if any people actually go to outside of things like the Anniversary Events. With the amount of time that’s passed since Classic, and even Cataclysm, that would be a good place to put old dungeons so that they’re still in the game if you want the experience, but would allow Blizzard the freedom to re-evaluate those areas in terms of world-space. The heritage quests moved the plot forward for a lot of the starting antagonists that people faced like the Defias and the Scarlet Crusade; but we’ve been fighting them for decades and it doesn’t make any sense for them to still be holed up in the Deadmines and Scarlet Monastary, etc.

I’d love if there was random caves in certain places throughout Azeroth that would have a seamless transition like Zaralek Caverns – into the zone of the Caverns of Time
