Big Issue: Cauterizing Shadows only procs when the remaining duration of Shadow Word: Pain is less than 5 seconds, but that mechanic conflicts with the DoT duration extension mechanic of Void Bolt and the Mental Decay talent.
Easy Fix: Change Cauterizing Shadows so it procs whenever you refresh Shadow Word: Pain via a direct cast of that spell or from the Misery mechanic.
Also make it proc when a mob with swp dies.

IIRC when this was changed in SLands, it DID proc when a mob with sw:p died so long as they died within that pandemic window? But I could be wrong.
In SL beta it was proccing on literally every mob death and I’m pretty sure Blizzard has already nixed that idea.

It does already. I think its bigger problem atm is it heals like 20K out of our uh… 5-6 million health pool.
