Has anyone seen this Rare up? I’ve camped for at least 4 hours each day the Drills are up and haven’t seen him yet.
He shares a spawn rate with Gorged Gear-Cruncher and The Kelptoboss. One of the three have a chance to spawn every 30-60 minutes. Bad RNG could result in one of them not spawning for quite some time. Maybe hop around some realms?
Popped on my rare scanner today. Didn’t actually see the rare though because it died within 20 seconds of popping up on the map. Was doing something else so didn’t fly over to check it out.
I am always in an RP shard With Warmode off so that may or may not help you.
I think I’m done trying to find this rare. Spent another 4 hours camping it last night and nothing.
He can only spawn when the drill rigs construction project is up for the day. Drill Rig DR-CC73 is the one associated with him, so when drill rigs are up just wait for that message to appear in chat (you’ll see it no matter where you are in the zone and have a minute to get to it). You fly over, defend the drill rig, then when the cave is open proceed down into the caverns and kill him. As others have stated he shares a spawn with the other CC class drills and one spawns roughly every 30-60 minutes.
Which one are you using? I was using Silver Dragon but it stopped working in 8.2.
