Cats, WoW, and Covid-19

I noticed! I was not on for a few days and logged on yesterday(?) and it said you were offline for four days. I was a bit concerned.

It might be a good distraction(playing wow) or just blabbing to someone about anything. It’s going to be hard for awhile but it will eventually get better. Just let yourself grieve and take care of yourself.:hugs:

Sophie has thankfully not been affected by things happening at all so far, and continues to believe she owns the place

Oh my gosh Apple! I’m sooo very, very sorry.

Virtual {HUGS} :hugs:

On thread topic, I have several cats that are nice and chubby, driving me nuts, and I Need kitty litter… I got the “glare” today. Going to try again for some tomorrow. I usually use four 20 lb bags a week, and could only find two last week, so… Yeah, the cats are not happy. (8 litter boxes.)

Hopefully the market will have some. Normally it’s not a problem, but lately ugh who knows. lol

Anyway, I have cat food so they are happy about that. 26 house cats purring and following you everywhere is pretty fun. lol

I always work from home so nothing new in that.

I would post some pics but I don’t have that lvl.

Wow! I thought my SIX cats were a lot! Twenty-six; how perfect!

No typo. lol

Feral cats had kittens… Brought family in got them fixed they won’t go back outside. And honestly with the packs of dogs and coyotes they don’t last long outside… I’m such a softee

No more though, people please stop dropping of your cats in our front yard…

We do have a large ranch style house, one level but it’s long and they can run around a lot. Also have lots of cat trees.

Bottom line, as long as we feed them well we are allowed to live here. The house belongs to them. lol :cat2:

I have a Yorkie (I also have T3 on my priest but idk how to post my own pictures with a link) but he’s doing well, I take him twice a week for fluids for his kidneys I’ve had him since I was 11 and he’s 12 now, the vet said he’d never seen anyone be so diligent with keeping up on the fluids (he also has to eat a KD diet) but all in all his numbers for what his kidneys should be are fine and he can continue his happy little life unbothered, other than the two vet visits a week because my hand isn’t steady enough to cut a dotted line off a bag let alone do the fluids myself.

You’re right about orange cats! My friend’s cat, that I could rub his belly, was orange.

I love that song! It was stuck in my head not long ago, so it’s possible you mentioned it in a different thread. No worries cause I needed a distraction. Can’t sleep at the moment because dingy me wanted a latte after 9 pm and here I am at 2 am not being able to sleep. It’s especially fun when I hear a noise and my mind goes, “Someone is coming to get you!” when that’s far from the case. lol

I honestly really loved the sets in the Cat’s movies and want to see it again.

Hello my fellow dwarven hunter friend. If it helps I made an Imgur account just to post pics on the forums. lol You can mark the pictures private and still post the links.

Hiya Applebear. Wanting to send you positive thoughts. You’re definitely a regular forum poster I recognize and enjoy seeing. Your name alone always makes me happy. I’m happy this thread is helping you out. :relaxed:

I miss wandering out in the backway forest path up around the hill and seeing random kittens wander through and little feet hunters and little strays and forest kittens bapping and hunting my feet and the animal shelter. They had 7 little cute flame point siameses and 3 were set to be adopted last time i went there, but with the coronavirus i hope they aren’t stuck there. It’s been noticed with the coronavirus that they had to shut down open day adoption centers even though the shelter adoptions are still open but without the adopts from the publicity probably not as many people are gonna adopt them over a good weekend and of course it makes me sad to think about the older or less human trusting cats that never got a good human experience and might get put away. Still at least though the kittens are cute and i know they were being adopted by hotcakes, but you know there’s a lot of mouths and it was all volunteers and if they grow up before getting adopted, even if it’s a wonderful cat caring for them and adopting them becomes harder. But it makes sense since of pandemic. i hope they’re doing good though. Little kittens are just so cute. Here’s a picture of a little adorable baby bob kitten who a little flame point siamese played just like!

My hateful orange tabby cat is sitting in my lap as I type it. He demanded it. We had a good day today. We took our 6 year old son out to the stripmines and let him look for bugs and play in the woods while we dug some ramps (wild leaks basically). Perfect for social distancing since we didn’t see a single person out there lol.

We are in Ohio and they just announced earlier we are supposed to stay home so I suspect people are going to be a little crazy now.

The scaling for the cats was all over the place so that was distracting. I just prefer the musical and how it’s all taking place in a junkyard.

Oh and more cute cats

This last clip is awesome because this is such great enrichment for the lion. Seriously if the lion didn’t wanna do this, she wouldn’t.

My cat doesn’t much care one way or the other. The dog can’t get enough attention from anyone.

My kiddo, since school is now online, loves that the cat comes to their lap vs mine since I’m still going to work.

The dog just wants us all to watch her run through the yard all day, or all the belly rubs

Probably helps with studying and homework to have a little buddy purring on their lap. Back when I had my first rat ages ago she was my little homework buddy. Even if I had to keep taking pencils away from her. Rats like to grab things and run off with them you see.

I had a pet Rat at uni, she was gorgeous; my little CoCo.

My best friend had a male Rat, and he pee-d everywhere! CoCo was a good girl, but she did love to chew things.

Lol yup. Rats unfortunately have like. No control over their bladder so when they gotta go they just go. Male rats especially.

Thank you, I really appreciate your kind words. :hugs: To be honest, I’ve always saw your name and thought of happiness, because you’re always so happy. I too am glad this thread is helping…it was very kind of Miriel to allow me share in it.

My best friend has rats too…a lot of them. They live better than her I think some times. Their cages are like mansions, with all these elaborate toy setups.

I think incidental conversations are so helpful and kind when you’re grieving, just knowing people will support you, even if they are strangers, is very powerful.

When you’re sad and alone it’s so important to know that people are thinking of you, and supporting you.

I’m on Dath’remar, my main is Alysiel, if you ever want to chat, I’m there!

Hah! Gorgeous. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
