So questions, does anyone know if the PvP talent catharsis activates when you cast VT and have the misery talent, or do you have to actually press SW: pain directly to activate it. Just did a bg where it only hit 4 times which doesn’t make sense because I’m pretty sure I had catharsis stored up more than 4 times but casted VT with misery talented a lot.

It only actives when you specifically cast Shadow Word: Pain.

Damnation or SW: P proc it
This entire time I have tried to use catharsis not realizing it wasn’t proccing on VT with Misery. I don’t know why I am just realizing this now… This feels like a bug to me lol.
It’s deliberate to give you some actual control over how you spend it, same with the new 4 piece.
