Catch Up Knowledge points

This might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like catch up gathering knowledge points should be a 100% drop chance until you catch up. It is quite annoying killing 20+ mobs to skin and only receive 1 catch up point. Also I feel like we should be getting catch up points for any darkmoon fair/ treatise/ or weekly quest we might have missed out on when starting a character late in the current content. I feel like all gatherer’s and crafters should be able to quickly get on the same amount of points.

totally disagree there mate .

but then again I dont think there should be any catch up for anything . MMOs reward time played . people who play longer than me ( which would be most ) should have better and more stuff then Me . I also dont like account bound stuff ( or BOEs for that matter ) want something , earn it on that toon , didnt play at that time or that expansion –unlucky you shouldnt have naything from there . I know that thats not a popular opinion and thats fine , but its how i think teh game should be .

I have all professions coverered and have put around 3 million gold and many hours into it this expansion ,why should someone who just starts be equal to me - doesnt make sence

Ok Boomer times have changed noone likes to play mmo’s your outdated way anymore it’s inconvenient to those who have jobs and can’t play 24/7 like a child or senior citizen.

I’d rather knowledge points go away entirely. Awful system riddled with noob traps and no way to reset.

Most of the catch-up is in the patron orders. You will see more orders with 2 (or even rarely 3) flickers the farther behind you get. As materials prices drop, this will be cheaper later in the game to catch-up.

For gathering, you will get extra knowledge drops if you have completed the weekly quests in town.

You can reset your knowledge points but if I remember correctly, you can only reset your knowledge points once. .

They had in TWW. Did they add it for midnight too?

Not that anyone has found or publicized.

12.0.5 had some datamined strings regarding a rechargeable spec reset, but Blizzard never announced anything about it and there’s nothing implemented at present.
