I’m having issues with Misdirection on Cata Classic, Bloodyshots-Atiesh.
So I was running Vortex Pinnacle with my pet to farm volatile airs, and I was using MD just fine until halfway through my run. It randomly stopped working and every time I attempt to use it, I get a “You can’t do that yet” error message. It’s been about an hour and I still haven’t been able to use the ability again since. I tried restarting, reloading, switching my spec back and forth and it’s still causing the issue. I have another hunter and Misdirect is working fine. I also just tested attempting to use it on another player and I’m currently unable to cast on other players as well. This is going to be a massive problem for myself in dungeons and raids. Anyone have a fix for this bug?
I’ve never ran into this issue before, though the only difference is that I just recently got the misdirection glyph to be able to constantly md to my pet. It could be a coincidence or they could be connected.

I started having this problem about 45 minutes ago. When I Googled the problem, this post was the only thing I could find.
I was running Vortex Pinnacle through the dungeon finder and misdirecting to another player. It was working at first, but at some point, MD stopped working, and I started getting the “You can’t do that yet” error message. I equipped the MD glyph last night before logging off. MD broke two hours after I logged in for the day.
I tried to resolve the problem by reloading the UI, exiting the game, and logging back in. After reading this post, I changed the MD glyph to something else. After those attempts, I still see the error and don’t know what else to do. I would appreciate any help.
EDIT: I stepped away for about an hour and it’s working now. I doubt there was a patch on the Sunday before Memorial Day, so this might be an intermittent problem.
I dont suppose anyone ever found a fix for this? I have the glyph for it to not have a CD when used on my pet and popped it every pull for like 10 pulls in a row while leveling and then it gets stuck on CD for like like an hour. Then did it again and its stuck on CD again I assume for like an hour again.
