I’m trying to figure out the fastest way to target either chest or legs (plate) that I can convert in the catalyst for my 4th piece.
I farmed a heroic dungeon item off the first boss in Nokhud Offensive, but I can’t catalyze it at 1/8 adventurer.
Is that because it’s not a season item? Or would it be eligible if I upgraded it to a certain level? Or can you only catalyze veteran and above?
Question is kind of tricky. To my knowledge, the only items eligible for the catalyst are raid / M+ items. Anything you obtain from lower level dungeons or content will not be eligible, whether it’s from crafting, world quests, the various open world activities, etc.
The items from the time rifts used be eligible last season. Maybe someone can correct me if Superbloom / some sort of purchasable gear is eligible this season.
To clarify: I’m specifying raid / M+ sources because Veteran gear is the lowest possible level eligible for the catalyst (LFR), but veteran gear obtained from other sources will not be eligible. At least that’s how it worked last season.
I just would like the following change:
Show me which set the output of catalysis (raid finder, normal, heroic) will belong to.
Upgrade track.
LFR and higher
M+ and higher
I’m not certain what that’s supposed to mean.
Adventure
Champion
Hero etc etc
When you look at upgrade paths theyre marked with a “track”. I forget what LFR, but you match the upgrade tracks for thr appropriate tiers
Only gear from the current raid, M+ and Emerald Dream world events can be catalyzed.
Thanks… I guess my confusion might have been around the fact that heroic and M0 dungeons now award vault slots. But they can’t catalyze still, so that clears that up.
Has to be a raid or M+ item to be able to catalyze it.
And Emerald Dream world event gear.
There is an item level limit as well. For LFR, I think it is anything under 450. If you have an item that goes over 450 due to its upgrade track, it will become normal once past that point.
Yes, it’s the track that it is when you loot it. so the 1/8 level is what it’ll convert to for appearance wise
