They could just have it unlock in your transmog just if you see the drop. Don’t even have to win the roll.
Like they did with quest rewards later. You unlock them all regardless of which you choose.

some pvp side don’t like it “hides” good gear.
They won’t engage a real target. They want pvp they can’t lose. so as they see player x in full arena/deadly they do not engage.
they see me in only savage and assumed deadly accessories (they’d be right) and go I could be a target.
then they see the fresh 80 in trash quest greens going oh hell yeah…this dude is getting “pvp happened”.
Still not a vlaid reason for no tmog. Want to know player’s gear even if hidden by tmog, read their HP bar.
My retail hunter is full 411 with 1 conquest piece so far.
When I see other hunters its real easy.
Less hp then me? they are not even full 411 baseline gear.
More hp than me? they full 411 gear and have more than 1 conquest piece.
Classic can work like this too. or, some “pvpers” will jsut have to pick a fight for the hell of of it and maybe lose once in a while.
