Im a bit confused with this timeline. Does it not give access to cata zones or is it now just eastern kingdoms and kalmidor. I cant seem to find the hyjal starter quest any where. thx

Cata timeline is EK and Kalimdor with the 5 max level zones but they don’t become available until lvl 30
To clarify, the Cataclysm zones like Hyjal and Twilight Highlands have to be reached through flying, so Blizzard made the level requirement for end game Cata zones 30.

It’s the revamped Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor until level 30 (when you can train flight) and then you can begin the questing in those zones. It also has the consequence that you cannot herb or mine in those zones until level 30 either as the nodes are level locked.
Its clunky, they should have put the requirement on the box where you ask chromie to send you somewhere else… for me I saw nothing but classic dungeons, and not the cataclysm dungeons I was salivating for. and when I followed the breadcrumbs, i ended up in Pandaria!!! only one worse place to end up and that’s Draenor!
