How many years back was Cataclysm from Shadowlands as far as lore goes?
From the curse of the worgen to current.
About six years. Cataclysm started in year 28 and right now we’re either at the tail end of 33 or in 34.

Every xpac is two years? I think I remember seeing that somewhere. Unless it changed.
IRL times aren’t game canon. Most expansions lasted about a year or so in lore. Cata went for two years though.
All in all from vanilla to Shadowlands has been roughly 9 years on Azeroth.
I do know that the revamped zones are now older than the original ones.
