What are your opinions since this has been announced to be coming in the summer? I loved Cataclysm, it seems like that is an unpopular opinion though. I just loved the leveling system and if I can remember correctly they added reforging stats in Cata. I do hate having to hit the hit % cap, but other than that I really liked hunters having polearms and bows. I do remember arenas giving like 150 conquest per win as well. It was very nice.
I played it last time. I don’t really want to experience that 10v25man nightmare again.
no bad feelings against those who like that stuff, but it was too difficult to raid 25man and I see no reason it won’t be the same with how much easier they are.
I enjoyed Cata back in the day. I don’t have the time to enjoy this time-rushed experience especially with no Era support. Tapping out of these progression expansions as a result.
Another thing, the difficulty of dungeons was nice. I miss old shadowfang keep and wiping on it repeatedly.
I’m a big fan of Cata, it is alot different than classic, it’s definitely the turning point but not a bad thing. In my opinion they should build on Classic through SOD and build on Cata through continued development. My problem with retail isn’t that it’s new it’s that it’s new and old. There’s wayyy to much content it’s overwhelming.
I loved DKs in Cata. Frost was so fun.
Cata is super fun. I just wish monks were in it.
I’ve been doing my research and locating the classic Cata talent tree… I hope that the talent tree remains intact without converting over to the new retail version. one thing I’m not able to find is that I recall at one time that rockbitter was a casting melee spell instead of a weapon buff… I was in wetlands where I was using the rockbitter delivering massive hits on creatures… I was swinging my stave like a baseball bat. I was trying to find reference about this, but I suspect this was changed or added during MoP.
