Cataclysm Classic Spell Hit not showing correctly?

My mage has 446 hit rating which should translate to 17% hit, however the character sheet shows 14.5% hit.

Either the character sheet is bugged, something with reforging is bugged, certain gems are bugged, or the combat rating for hit rating to 1% spell hit is bugged.

Are you looking under the Melee header instead of the Spell header? They have different conversion rates

Also suffering this issue. have 1743 hit @level 85 and my ranged hit chance still shows at 14.51% on character sheet. have disabled all addons and this is still showing. also on a mage on cata classic.

Mages don’t use ranged hit chance.
