Update: My husband figured out the problem. I hadn’t completed the Twilight Highlands introductory quests to get the portal opened. I am not sure why this worked, but it did. Hopefully, this will help someone else out later.
I am having issues with finishing the Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest final quest, “The Stuff of Legends”. I am stuck on the final part where you speak with Hallegosa and watch the roleplaying scene with Kalecgos. I talk with Hallegosa, my character kneels on the disc, and then 10 seconds into the scene, the dragons and everyone in Stormwind disappears. There is no staff to interact with; just an empty city with my character on the disc.
I have done this in a normal group and my guildmate said I was in a different phase and located in the catacombs. I have tried this in every way I can think of. I am not in a raid group, no addons, reloaded the UI, logged out and back in, changed zones, rebooted the computer, changed computers, equipped/unequipped staff, and logged onto a different character. Nothing has worked so far.
