[CATA] The Quest "Amidst Death, Life" cannot be completed

  1. Log into World of Warcraft with any level 40+ character
  2. Start the quest “Amidst Death, Life”
  3. Plant the seeds in the ziggurats
  4. —> The error message “Requires Fungal Vale Necropolis” shows up despite character being in the right place.

NOTE: This is a bug that was supposedly fixed in earlier versions of the live game but seems to have come back up in Classic.

I’ve also experienced this tonight. I cant complete the quest. The first 2 towers worked fine but the last one does not let me place the seed.

There were also 3 other people there trying to complete the quest but ultimately had the same issue.

Additionally, its now been raised in server chat, so it seems like this is happening for everyone.

Please fix this so the quest can be completed.

Still unable to complete. Is blizzard fixing this and aware of this issue?

I’m not sure how, but the day after I posted about this bug, I was able to complete it.

I did raise a ticket and state that the quest was bugged and couldn’t be completed but the response to the ticket was on “how to restore destroyed items” which at the time I thought was useless. I’m not sure if the GMs did something in the background though as when I went back there I was able to complete it.

Maybe try raising a ticket to see if they can do the same thing.

I’m currently having this issue Requires Fungal Vale Necropolis when trying to complete seed planted in western ziggurat. very discouraging

Still not working , I get "No Valid target found " message…sigh…
