CATA RDF - in the ‘Specific Dungeon’ option Stratholme Main Gate is displaying 44-52, but RDF loads into Stratholme dead side.
Groups of 44-46 players are grinding through lvl 49-51 mobs that they can barely hit. I’ve cleared it with 2 groups so it is doable, but the third tank got mega-clapped and aggro radius was huge.
It also doesn’t give you a satchel or XP bonus at the end so we end up slowly going through a dungeon full of orange and red mobs and don’t even get our random bonus at the end.

Adding further insult, if you’re spamming dungeons, you’ll get it 7-8 times when you’re too low (in part because no reward, as you noted), and then you’ll get it again 5-6 times when you’re actually in the right range for it.
At least it could have dropped the mount, but alas. 
I’m stuck in that loop now, about to be at least able to get the quests. Also, you can’t select the main gate for strat, it takes you to the back door
This needs a Blue post to confirm that this is a known bug, as I have just done an RFD at level 45 and got Stratholme ‘Dead Side’ as my Q… since per the update of Known Bugs on May 3 there has been no confirmation that I can find
this issue actually existed in classic wotlk too, if you can believe that. hope blizz fixes it
This is STILL an issue. Please adjust the priority of this ticket with your devs. Blizzard should have adjusted the level range of the dungeon OR the mobs before “Welcome Weekend” went live.
Bumping this up. I got Strat Main Gate through RDF which is actually Service Gate (Undead). Yesterday, we couldnt finish because our tank kept getting killed and then when I did it again today, still getting undead strat even though it states main gate and when we finished it, no extra exp or satchel and when leaving its like you are deserting the dungeon instead.
Bump again, this level bracket is creating a problem, I got tossed into group at last boss but being that it’s broke, no bonus xp or item bag, I am left with no choice but to leave, and get slammed with a cooldown from Queueing again. Tried to report a bug in game but support in game is looking like they took a page from Jagex. if you know you know…
Confirming this. It appears the Stratholme - Main Gate is intended for live side, but instead spawns you in dead side. This means we can never complete the dungeon - routes between were blocked off and we can never kill dreadlord boss. Most people go to Baron, but that doesn’t complete the RDF
