Im specced discipline but I cant use dispel magic on any friendly targets. Says invalid target. I can dispel myself. I believe the game thinks Im a shadow priest or its not giving me credit for ‘absolution’ passive.

4 manning old raids right now and I can dispel myself and the mage, but not the dk or pally.

i’m still havin this issue with my shadow priest where i can’t dispel anyone but myself. what’s going on with the dispels that i can’t find data on?

In cata you have to be speced holy or disc to dispell friendly targets. its called Absolution, you can see it in the spec overview. sorry late reply!
Forgot to mention you can still mass dispell friendlys as shadow
