When purchasing this mount and other drakes, I was under the impression we were going to be able to use these super cool mounts into battle. I recently tried using my drake mount previously purchased from 60 days of game time, and the recently added avatar mount. NETHIER OF THEM WORK IN BGS - I know drakes were previously working. I think the only logical thing to do is ethier fix it to allow drakes to be ridding in battle grounds or you refund the previously purchased in game mounts, and include in the details THAT THEY WILL NOT BE RIDABLE IN BGS.
