Is it just me? Or, is Cataclysm way better than I remember it. Anyone else having an absolute blast? Vashj’ir is so good, one of the most creative zones to ever be in the game. I suppose that in my youth is just wasn’t able to appreciate it. I didn’t realize how ambitious the old world revamp truly was, Cataclysm is almost like two expansions in one!

I loved Vashjir too. Being a Naga was weirdly cool. Haven’t quested far in any of the other zones yet since I play a healer, but I am looking forward to checking them all out. I really like the art style and ambience of Deepholm

Even Reddit used to bash Cata so hard pre-launch. But now, there are a lot of positive discussions and all that Cata-hate is pretty much gone.
It’s fair to say that the majority of current players are enjoying it.
Sure, there is a possibility that a lot of folks have quit already idk. But it’s really peaceful now.
Maybe that’s what the game needed - to get rid of toxic & entitled players.
SoD is pretty much the most toxic version of WoW there is today atm.

The biggest issues with Cata in the original version were lack of content and lack of polish; because they spent so long working on the old world remake, the new Cata stuff was a bit undercooked and it took a long time for new max level content to release.
With the ‘final version at launch’ and accelerated release schedule of Classic Cata, both of those problems are being taken care of.
There are still things to dislike and it’s still the first steps on the path to retail, but those were the biggest and most obvious issues.

Phase 1 Cata is way better than phase 1 WOTLK.
Is been ok. I like the first phase better than the first phase of Wrath. About as good as TBC. 
Uggh phase 1 TBCC is a tie for worst phase 1.
Play any spec of a Druid or tank as a warrior or pally and get back to me on that
I’m in the minority I’m sure… but I just loved that phase lol
