Suboptimal is a semi-HC guild that has been raiding since Classic launch. We have a history of server first progress and speed runs, but in recent expansions we’ve been more focused on creating a fun and laid back raid environment, while also playing at a level that we can take pride on.
We are looking for 2-3 more players to fill out our 25 man Cata roster. Our ideal recruit is someone who has a positive attitude, likes to be social and have fun, and knows how to min/max in a raiding environment. If the only thing you are looking to get our of raiding is parses or loot, this group may not be the right fit for you.
Schedule:
Tues/Thurs 8:45p-12a EST.
In order to keep a smaller bench, we expect everyone to maintain at least 80% attendance. We don’t have any scheduled raids before Cata launch.
Recruitment Needs:
- (High) Feral DPS
- (High) Melee (preferably with tank OS)
- (High) Mage/Boomkin/Lock

Loot Rules:
We use an open loot council based off of TMB loot lists. Prios on gear is always public and you can give feedback on loot lists anytime.
Expectations:
Here are a few examples of what we expect from our raiders:
- Optimal gems, enchants, spec, 2x crafting professions, etc.
- Continuous work towards your full pre-bis at the start of the expansion (not counting exceptionally rare items like Zin’Rockh).
- Farming Darkmoon Cards if they are your T11 BiS.
- Exalted with Tol Barad for the resist trinket.
- Contributing to mats for cauldrons and feasts.
- Filling out a loot priority list at the start of each tier.
