For guild masters, when opening the guild control settings, in the rank permissions tab there is a large blank space under the checkbox below the one labeled “requires authenticator” that is missing a lot of yellow text which would explain the use of this checkbox granted officer privileges and what those priviledges are.
(#somechanges suggestion, would be nice to be able to separate out some of these priviledges such as changing officer note as guilds that use the CEPGP addon like to protect the officer note from changes as that is where the add on stores every player’s loot priority)
In addition to the display error many GMs I have spoken to reported that officer permissions had been incorrectly applied to their guild following the launch of pre patch. In some cases entire guilds found that every rank in the guild had been granted officer privileges.
Guild master are able to solve the application of the officer check box by slowly cycling through the affected ranks unticking the box and waiting for changes to be applied then ticking it again if necessary.
