On Cataclsym Classic I have the issue where I often cannot turn in the quests that are “Click to complete” - the notification never pops up in my objective tracker and there’s no option from the quest log. This doesn’t always happen, but this is usually the case and the only way for me to turn it in is to return to the questgiver even in those situations that you aren’t supposed to need to return.
The most common place this happens to me is in dungeons - for example on every toon I’ve leveled through Blackrock Caverns so far, I haven’t been able to turn in the dungeon quests as I go through and have to return to the little gnome between each leg of the quest (but since I don’t want people to have to wait for me it means it actually takes 4 runs of the dungeon to finish the quests for it), because the option to Click to complete never shows up. It seems to work just fine on quests where there is no alternative - for example in the Vash’jir quest where you kill eels - the quest is granted upon killing one, and the only way to turn it in is with the click to complete - it’s worked fine for me every time. But it seems like any quest where you have the option of talking to an NPC, the click to complete option just will not present itself.
I’ve tried disabling any addons that skin the entire UI or affect the quest tracker (e.g. disable questie, GW2 ui, etc…) and it makes no difference
